"Can I stay at Aunt Steph's?"

So Jon and Allie come in from playing the the woods all day and Jon says  - Hey mom, can I stay at Aunt Steph's tonight?

I told him it wasn't really my choice to make and he needed to ask Uncle Woody because Aunt Steph was at work.

He looks at Uncle Woody and says "Hey Uncle Woody, can I stay at Aunt Steph's tonight?"

CTS...CNB...CVS

Boy this layout is taking some getting used to. Took me a little bit to figure out how to make another post! lol

So today RedBox has a free rental code (THANKS2U) and Jon wanted Treasure Buddies. We went to Walmart and it wasn't in. We walked to the other door and it wasn't in that one either. So I pulled out my handy dandy iPhone and found it using the RedBox app at the CVS in town. We reserved it so no one could check it out before we got there and then we went to get it.

As we walk out of Walmart there is a van that says "CTS" Jon says "Dang! CTS, too bad it's not CVS"..... we pass CNB bank Jon says "Ugh! CNB! If I see initials one more time that start with a C and it's not CVS, I'm going to explode!" I told him to close his eyes, because I didn't want him to explode.

Jon says..... "Oy, it's just a figure of speech, Mom."

PS - he's feeling better since the last post. Not 100% yet, but Spring Break is next week, so he can rest up then.

And that's what it's all about

Okay, so you'll have to bear with me here as I learn this format. I've never blogged before, but figured I'd start keeping track of the stuff my kiddo says. I think he's pretty funny, and I know I'll never remember it all, so..... as my Dad says "A short pencil is better than a long memory." - I'm going to start writing it down. I hope.

First one - (a little background) Jon has been sick all week. Fever that the doc says was probably an ear infection - but since the ear never hurt, we didn't know. Now he's coughing. Anyone that knows my kid personally, knows what I mean when I say that. It's not fun. As a matter of fact, it really sucks. He's been coughing non stop since Thursday (it's Sunday now). We went to the doctor yesterday, and while it seemed more promising while we were there, it ended up the same - nothing. helps.

Now for the funny - I said "I need more coffee." Jon says....."I need less coughing."

See! He's funny ;-) There will be more - I may or may not explain, like I did in this one. They very likely will just be one liners. Hey, take what you can get, you're lucky I'm even doing this! lol We'll see if I remember.
